Brasenose-One and Two will NOW both be closed from 8am Wednesday 10th July until 2/3pm Sunday 14th July.
This is for the UK Carp Cup semi-finals and important maintenance work leading up to the event on the Wednesday and Thursday. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Chris Blunt finally managed to get the rods out for the first time in ages landing three low to mid double pretty mirrors and a big male tench. They all fell to hand rolled hook baits fished over a heavily spodded area at about 50-yards range.
Adam Berti had a new PB 30lb 01oz mirror during a recent session.
And Ashley Brain had a new PB mirror weighing 16lb 04oz on his first trip to the complex.

Richworth Field tester Neil Richards had 3 fish using 18mm S-core boilies and matching pellets, topped by a stunning 27lb 04oz linear mirror.
Jimmy "Five Bellies" Evans had a cracking 36lb 04oz mirror during a recent session.
And Adriano Mercato had mirror of 19lb and 20lb along with one of the lakes big ghosties weighing 40lb 04oz. This is the first time this fish has ever been reported over 40lb, there are now two 40lb plus ghosties in the water along with a third very close to that. Adriano landed his fish using Steve Renyard Baits contrast boilies along with Hinders particles, blaze stick mix and little gemz.

Paul Holloway had a lovely 22lb 10oz mirror during a quick overnight session recently.
Keith Newton had three fish up to 30.08 whilst fishing PVAS bags in the margins.
Rich Seeds had six fish up to 29.08 during a recent session to the water.
Craig Lappin had twelve fish using krill boilies and corn, his catch included mirrors weighing 18lb, 19lb, 22lb and 32lb.
BRASENOSE TWO

Adam Harris had a new PB 24lb mirror on his first cast on B-2 using a white pop-up and solid PVA bag.
Kevin Horton had a 20lb mirror, one of three fish caught using small pop-ups.
Calum Kletta had a number of fish during a recent session practising for the UK Carp Cup semi's.
Simon Robinson had a 12.06 mirror whilst surface fishing.
Jon Dunbar from Oxfordshire had a cracking 19lb mirror using a 3ft zig rig.
Dave Cope had the mirror known as "Split Tail" at a spawned out weight of 29.04, this was just one of ten carp caught during his 24-hour session.

Jonny Walker had a stunning 27lb common during a surface fishing session on the water.

The have nearly finished spawning on Oxlease now, just a few groups of small fish still having a go.
All other day ticket lakes are fine but still some fish spawning down on the syndicate waters. (11/07/13).

Dion Reed landed five fish during a recent session including a new PB 17.02 mirror.
Calum Kletta landed nineteen fish using zig whilst filming for the Gardner Tackle web site, this included five twenties up to 26lb.
Max Hendry from Total Carp Magazine landed six fish to 19lb using 9ft zig rigs.
Ben Dent-Willoughby had two fish up to 18lb using Mainline Active-8 boilies and solid bags.

Ben Dent-Willoughby had 29 fish up to 21lb using Mainline Active-8 boilies and solid bags. Fishing with him was Nathan Foster who landed ten fish to 21lb on the same bait.
Ben Phillips caught eleven fish during his trip to the water, his catch included two twenties up to 22lb 08oz.
And whilst celebrating his 80th birthday, Barry Turner landed a cracking 18lb mirror.

**Upcoming Lake Closures**
Swims 23-37 on Oxlease Lake will be closed for swim repairs from 8am Tuesday 6th until 5pm Friday 9th August. Also swims 21-38 on Oxlease Lake will be closed for swim repairs from 8am Tuesday 6th until 5pm Wednesday 7th August.
Brasenose Two will be closed all week from 8am Monday 29th July until 5pm Friday 2nd August for weed cutting. Brasenose-Two will then reopen for the weekend before closing again at 6pm on Sunday 4th Aug for the BYCAC (See Below).
Brasenose-Two will be closed from 6pm Sun 4th Aug until 6pm Wed 14th Aug for the BYCAC Junior Champs and the Fish With The Stars MNDA Charity Event.

Liam Hodges continued his great season on Hardwick landing another twelve fish including a stunning big plated 26.14 linear mirror. Hinders little gemz and cell boilies fished in solid bags did the trick.
And Jon Angell had a nice mirror using a 10ft zig rig with a trimmed down Berkley Gulp pop-up as a hook bait.

Lee Hughes had a very enjoyable session, landing a 16.14 common, along with mirror of 21.00 and 29.04. All Lee's fish fell to the same rod using cell boilies.

Over on Yeomans Lake, Bill Kittle had a 14lb mirror during a day session. David Colkin from Nuneaton landed a 15.02 common along with mirrors of 14.08 and 16lb. And on Gaunts Lake Birmingham angler Daniel Fellows had nine fish up to 25lb.

Dave Jenkins had a number of nice fish including a 23.12 common and 24.06 mirror, all his fish fell to Blakes Baits choc-malt boilies.
Pete Wilson from Richworth Baits had fish of 15lb, 21lb 12oz and 26lb 12oz, fishing with him was his son Jack who landed fish weighing 18lb, 10lb 10oz and 22lb 10oz. All their fish fell to Richworth S-core boilies, pellets and ground bait.
Liam Hodges had three fish to 28.04 using LH1 boilies from West Country Baits.
James Gesner had a cracking 30lb 02oz common along with four other fishing during a quick overnight session. James used Richworth S-core boilies during his trip.

**Upcoming Lake Closures**
Hardwick Lake and Smiths Pool will be closed all day on Sunday 6th of October for the first of this years pike matches.
Oxlease Lake will be closed from 9am on Friday 11th of October until approximately 3pm on Sunday the 13th for the final of the UK Carp Cup.
**Please Read the Fishery Rules**
During the last five days we've had to ask anglers to leave the fishery for driving on the grass right down to their swims and one angler for being nearly 300 yards away from his rods. We don’t have that many rules so please abide by them or you may be asked to leave the fishery, not matter how far you've travelled.

Darren Nichols had a new PB 17lb mirror during his first session on Hardwick/Smiths.
Martin O'callaghan had two stunning doubles during his first trip to the lake.
And Lucas Coulter had seven fish using GNZ pop-ups fished over 7kg of spod and boilies. His catch included a 22.10 mirror and two stunning linears weighing upper double and 26lb 14oz.

The big girls at Linear are feeding. Yesterday Tom Maker posted he had 51 fish and the second biggest at 32-6 on Twitter.

**Anglers Banned from the Site**
During the last week we have had to ask two anglers to leave the site after they drove all over the grass to drop their tackle off. This is against our rules and will not be tolerated.
The fishery has also had to ask a group of three anglers to leave the site after they had climbed the security fences and found to be using three rods when they had only paid for two. This group of anglers became aggressive to our bailiff after being asked to leave, at this point the police were informed and three police cars attended to ensure the anglers left.
We take no pleasure in asking anglers to leave the site but if you break the rules we will and if necessary the police will be called.

And Linzi Fisher landed twenty fish in 24-hours using cell boilies, her biggest fish went 31lb 08oz.
