Iam off to blue water lakes on the 18th of september with a gang of lads from wiltshire.
We've got the food package so all i have got to buy is lager and crates of it!

I think the main lake is doing 60s now and the average fish is in the 30's! So i think a good time should be had.

In the past iv'e been to etang de margot with a gang of lads from leamington and i think there is another trip being organised for next year. So if you fancy it i will drop your name in.

Would love the French trip but money the problem unless something changes in the nest year on the job front

Not long now.
A nice week in the quite french outback with cheap booze and big carp. Picked up from my front door and fed twice a day. Roll on september the 18th.

A bit of a late report but here goes.

To be honest a struggled a bit, i went there with a plan and a bait the venue had never seen.
I didn't take much noticed to the advice i was given before hand.
As the week progressed my confidence dwindled, having netted and photographed numerous 40's and 50's. Not having a run started to get on my tits. I really thought the big check book and pen was mine.
Happily with 48 hours to go they got there heads down on my bait and i ended up having 10.
The biggest went 42lb 6oz.
Its a good venue with a massive head of big pigs. I knew all the other anglers so we had the craic.
Having a full english washed down with a load of champange every day raises a smile.

Quality pal fair play. Is that a new pb? Any pics? If struggling to put them up then email them me and i will get them up.

Yeh it is gav, the fish was probably the uglyist ive ever caught to match.
