been grillin my dad about his roach fishin and he been givin me a few tips to pass on. he thinks that the key to roach fishin for roach of any size is to keep the bait goin in but keep competition for food. if there are any specimen roach in the area then all the comotion of a shoal feedin will draw them into the swim and bully the smaller ones out the swim. maggots are good for the smaller roach but fish either punched bread over liquidised bread or chopped worm, sweetcorn and a sweet smellin groundbait in the summer will keep the roach in your swim all day long.
