Checkbook and pen......again!!!!
Finding River Pike was created by Gavfish
After struggling last week on the Avon for Pike i have been thinking maybe i havent been putting my spinners in the right place and am after a bit of advice on where they lay up in a river. For example on a bend would they be on the inside where the water is slower and shallower or would they be nearer the main flow in the deeper water.
Also what underwater features am i looking for? Am i right in trying sunken trees and branches and dying reed beds?
All advice will be taken onboard.

Hey,
I don't usualy go spinning for pike, but I would imagine it would be like placing a dead/live bait. Just got to find them I suspose. I had success the other day fishing the slack water at a weir, and my mate had some small jacks for the shallow water above the weir. That may help, or not lol.

Looks like a rabbits foot lol. Is this a type of fly you use for Pike fishing? Gonna be a big Trout to take that, you ever had a Trout on it?

Is it fluff or feathers? Are these available in the tackle shops yet or are you field testing them?
