kingston pools lighthorn heath

has anybody ever fished here as the website says 3 of the pools have 30s in but dont know much about the place?

Have you seen the picture of the carp at the top of their page on fisheries.co.uk ? dont look like a 30 to me.
Fished it a fair amount a few years back and never had anything bigger than about 10lb from Meadow or the Carp Pool. Personally theres alot more bigger and better looking Carp to be caught from other lakes in the area. Things could have changed alot since then though and theres a thread to have a read through from a couple of years back on here to thats got a few pointers from an old member on. Could be worth sending him a pm.

After all these years of relaxed rules the Kingston Pools owners have now decided to ban all braid after seeing what damage it could cause Carp.
