Anyone using this yet? Flying rats seem to be everywhere now weather is cooling off and they straight on the boilies when you using a stick or catapult so want something where they cant get them. Fed up of feeding them and not the carp!

I've used one Ben and there good well worth having in your tackle bag, although i will say when I've tried to really launch one some distances I've had them open up on me mid flight a few times spreading bait all over the shop, NOT GOOD! but up to about 80 yard chuck not bad.

Might work if you only fill the spod 3/4 full. <!-- s:idea: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_idea.gif" alt=":idea:" title="Idea" /><!-- s:idea: --> Should help eliminate the spill out the back of the spod on the cast.

Checkbook and pen......again!!!!

if im spodding with a big boys spod (not very often, as im not very good at it) I will cram a couple of cheesy wotsits in the back to keep the boilies in. They are made from corn starch and will float then dissolve much like pva nuggets only cheaper. The wotsits will keep the gulls busy while the boilies sink ;)

yeah I know what your all thinking <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> first there was marmite then there was carrots now its cheesy wotsits <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_surprised.gif" alt=":o" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o --> <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_surprised.gif" alt=":o" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o -->
