Hi can any one give me some tips for fishing weedy lakes pleased

Solid bags of PVA mate.

Moved to right section pal.

First rule of thumb is dont be afraid or daunted by the green stuff, i used to be but there are many ways to fish it. Like Ben said solid PVA bags. With you bait sat inside the bag once the PVA melts your hookbait will be sat on the top of the bag contents with the hook out of the weed.
Have a search round with the marker float to find a clear spot in amoungst the weed.
If there are alot of Bream or Tench in the lake prebait a spot the night before your fishing with a large amount of particles and these fish will have cleared a spot for you overnight as they feed on the bait and rip up the bottom of the lake.
If its low blanket weed you can fish a chod rig over it and your pop-up will sit just above the weed.
If its higher weed or canadian pondweed then casting a zig rig with a PVA nugget of foam on the top to help keep your pop-up above the weed.

On weedy water I always seem to stick close to the margins as that's where the weed seems to grow last.
