Which do you prefer fishing? Like 24 hours myself. Not too long on the banks and away from a toilet and you get plenty of time to find a spot to fish on, build your swim up and have a few carp out.
Anyone else care to share?

I prefer 48 hours myself just because of having more time on the bank and it dosent seem so bad moving pegs when you got plenty of time to give a spot chance to produce. I suppose it does depend on the place i cant sit at a bare puddle for 24 hours never mind 48 hours its got to have a good amount of wildlife to see and enjoy. The pond am on at the minute i only fish in the last 2 hours of light on the top because its only small and all the other guys fishing it are there all day and i still catch more then most of them in the last 2 hours. Sorry going off the point a bit now i will leave it at that.........

48 hours when i can afford it which isnt often.
More time on the bank rods in the water longer, bait going in longer and more time for the carp to proper get their heads down in the swim. Plus if you feel your not on the fish after the first night you got another 24 hours to pack up and move to get on them.

48 for me too if I can afford it. It means longer away from the wife and I dont have to change my socks. Ive been offered a place in a small syndicate and due to the cost I really need to be fishing for as long as I can as often as I can to make it worthwhile. Im not even sure I will join yet.

24 hours for me as rarely get the chance to do longer. Go there with a plan, quick walk round chosen venue then put plan into action.

48 hours is most popular then. Feel the same as others, if i could afford 48 hours more would do it more but 24 hours is good enough for me. <!-- s:ugeek: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_ugeek.gif" alt=":ugeek:" title="Uber Geek" /><!-- s:ugeek: -->

Thing i find with 24 hours is that even though its 24 hours i feel rushed for time. With 48 hours i feel more relaxed to pick a swim and find a spot to fish and bait up etc.
Any overnighter i can squeeze in is a bonus to me though.
