Signs of spring

While fishing today noticed a few signs that spring is on the way. First it was light by 7am and the sunshine, a warm day with slight wind. The birds were singing, the ducks chasing each other around like they do in mating season, Coots on there backs fighting with their feet, Grebes facing each other and shaking their heads dancing to each other. Seen Snowdrop flowers in gardens on the way home and even saw the years first Daffodil <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_surprised.gif" alt="" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o -->
Anyone else seen any signs that spring is only round the corner?

Days are certainly getting longer. Not dark until after 5 now.

Longer days, getting warmer, plants starting to grow and a few buds starting to come onto trees. Wont be long until those long, hot summer days. <!-- s8-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="" title="Cool" /><!-- s8-) -->

Just walked in my front door and there a couple of moths and loads of mosquitos flying round the outside light. Havent had to clear any frost of my car in the mornings all week either.

There was alot of boats on the river soar this weekend with the mild weather and bit of sun shine.
A sure sign that spring is just around the corner i cant wait..................

Dead bugs and moths on the front of my parents car, grass starting to grow a bit.
