Seen it to. It stated that it was at chigborough lakes though on Sky planner i was confused when Rob introduced Abbey Lakes.
On the website it says its Abbey Lakes.

On the show it wasnt the greatest really, nothing special. Woody at 55lb 4oz was a beast and plenty of pretty dark mirrors but nothing really informative. Maybe if show was an hour long they could show more of the rigs, tactics and bait that a few more of the anglers are using in more detail as it did seem a bit rushed, which is a shame really as i thought it showed a bit of promise last week.

Once again not very good imho. Dont know if im going to be watching the last 4 shows. Only good thing about it was the good looking carp. Anyone else think it was a bit unfair that Rob won it seeing that Abbey Lakes is his? He can get extra practise in there.

Once again a bit disappointing really. Nothing new on there and again not exteme at all. Just nice to see someone else other than Fairbrass on a carping programme. They got 3 weeks left now to impress me because so far it hasnt.

thought it were alright for someone like me who hasnt done alot of carping and fairly new to the sport. nice start with a 22lb mirror but looked an odd shape. Talked about moon phases and thier views on it and finished in the night with a 32lb 8oz. Not bad seein there only 4 30s in there.

think this going to be a good show for me to learn a thing or 2

have done in fairness. will be watchin next week ;)

Anyone watch this weeks? First half of show was bits of the Avid carp DVD and 2nd part at Brasenose, Linear Fisheries. Once again not long enough programme to cram everything into. Naked chod rig was good with Ian Russel but again on the Avid carp DVD.

Watched it again last night (watched it so far may as well watch until end of the series). Rob and his mate, forgot his name, went over to Gran Canaria. Cracking lake dug in the 60's with some beautiful fully scaled mirrors. They had a few to about 33lb but once again it wasnt an amazing show. Didnt really show enough of what they were doing or using to have a few carp out but they did have some stunning ones.

lacking in showing how they were catching but nice looking fish. seen a few thinking tackle programmes recently and starting to side on its a better show. not saying that i dont like this one as i do, its good to see more carp on tv but the thinking tackle programme is better.
