Mine has to be April. Waters warmed up a bit and carp are feeding heavily to get ready for spawning. Weathers usually a bit better to after a cold long winter.

October pal. 
Carp are around there biggest weight as they get fat for winter. Its not too cold but the banks are emptying of "fair weather fisherman" and the leaves changing colour makes the scenery look spectacular.

Especially if its like this winter with everywhere frozen, lucky to get a line in the water.
