Who you paired with pisstank?
Thought about it but no way i would be able to get a weight anywhere near big enough to win even at pastie pool.
May go down to watch it though.
Anyone else entering?

Its the time off work as well as i work most weekends.
Could be a good laugh though and there are some decent bigger fish in there. Havent fished it for at least 3 years and last 24 hour session i did there was i went though nearly 10kg of hemp and maize and did manage a few bigger fish but most between 2-5lb <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt="

Been a few years since i been there so the small carp they crammed it with have proberly put on a fair bit of weight. Before the restocked it the fish in there averaged high doubles but now seem to be alot smaller. Baliff breeds his own carp for there though which is good as has alot less risk of disease and he knows where they have been from egg to carp released in his lake.
Large beds of bait would be my advice if its still like it used to be.

hi just thought id add to this as barston is my local water and through out the year i fish it atleast 50 times.best mothod i would say is to fish a BIG method feeder with boilies and a re-cast every few minutes as the small carp in there hammer you and there are thousands of them in there.in the last 3 years ive fished it ive only ever seen 2 20lb fish caught and any thing out of there double figures you have done your self proud.
