Nice mate, well done. Got my Pike/Zander gear dusted off already for the long cold winter months so hoping of a few decent ones myself.

Could be the first Pike of many this winter to grace the website from members. Planning to give the pike a go on Drayton this winter myself.

Went to bishops bowl twice this week - Wednesday and thursday ( yesterday ). Both days targeting the mitre pool after having my enthusiasm for the pool sparked again by tales of big pike that lived in there once. Wednesday fished with livebaits and surprisingly blanked, had one take but let go shortly after the fight commenced, that evening i dropped by peg 11 and chucked in a load of chopped up roach, perch and mackeral pieces and fished over them yesterday with mackerel tail and roach deadbaits. Managed two jacks in the morning, both on popped up roach deadbait. One about 3lb and the other 6 or 7lb, going to try deadbaiting for two days next week in the deeeeeeep water on the far side. See if i can prove my lack of confidence in the deep water wrong.
