New PB after nearly 6 year wait!!!

Fished Bishop Bowls Mitre pool for 18 hours bagged myself a new pb .
Lost a fish in first 10 minutes of being there on peg 13 to my braid snagging on something and snapping. After talking to Shawn he advised trying a bit further into the bay away from the snag. As im not the fastest angler out of bed thought it would be the best idea. Nothing all night until i was woken up by a few beeps about 4.30am which came to nothing.
At half 6 moved the rod back on the snag and within 20 minutes hooked this beauty. Using the drop off lead the fish came up rather than buried in the snag.

Caught on Weston Baits Corn boilies topped with a pink pop-up it of corn on the top of that.
Changed other rod onto a chod rig and had a run from a Coot about 8am. After a chat to some of the lads fishing decided to call it a day around half 12.


Well pleased with myself and been grinning ear to ear all day.

Cheers boys was well worth the wait. Could have done with better photo but self-take and batteries ran out on camara so thought it best to get her back in the water un-harmed.
