October catch results

If there anyone catching:oops:

After checkbooks and bream and no carp for near a month i done 4 hours down Stockton Resse today from 3 til about 7. Had 10 runs resulting in 1 hook pull at net when foul hooked, 2 done me in the reed roots as fishing tight to them and 7 carp of which 6 were mirrors between 6 and 9lb 8oz and this 12lb 3oz common. Made my day as was trying a new rig that seem to work alright and will be using next time im down the bowls. Managed 4 to 12lb 5oz yesterday evening in short 3 hour session. All taken on small pva bags over a bed of particles from Drayton Resse.

Fair play mate good to see someone else catching.

Done 24 hours on peg 10 on mitre pool at Bishop Bowls last night. Had 2 runs during the night both on same rod. Fished tight in the margins with fake corn over a bed of corn and a bit of vitalin. Run at 12.15am resulted in a 14lb 7oz fully scaled mirror. Took about 40 yards before i got to my rod and battled for about 15 minutes before i managed to land it. 2nd run at 6am resulted in hook coming out and being ditched in nearby blanket weed.
