Went for the day session to get a bend in the rod yesterday at Stockton Resse (the Lias). Fished 7 til 2 on the bottom on top of a spodded out bed of bait at around 40 yards from peg 54. After nothing until half 10 i got 2 screaming runs and struck into nothing. By 1pm only 2 carp had come out from the 8 or so people fishing and even the noddys were struggling. I started chucking out dog biscuits and got a few feeding on the top close in until i got raided by ducks, geese and swans <!-- s:evil: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_evil.gif" alt="

Packed up and headed right to the top of the lake on peg 27 in the shallows on the top. Bagged 6 and lost 2 on the carp controller and chum mixer inbetween getting raided by the ducks. Biggest 2 carp were 9lb 15oz mirror and 8lb 14oz common.
When i left around 6 everyone had gone home bar 2 blokes who were on pegs 51 and 52 who had managed 6 between them on 4 rods!!!!
The biggest mirror was full of spawn so that dreaded time cant be far away

Headed up the Brickyard in Napton on tuesday with Troty hunting for the grassie
After an hour of feeding the carp one of the grassies turned up and Trot flick out a dog biscuit. It touched the float and swam off. 5 minutes later and it was back and this time troty flicked it out and it nailed the dog biscuit. Trot had it on for around 10 minutes before the line snapped
. We each ended up with about 5 or 6 pasties each upto around 6lb.

Was gonna do the night tonight but due to Chavs and rain didnt so popped up Blue Lias for and hour and fished peg 7 under the boards with pellet and a piece of fake corn the hair. Had mirrors of 8lb and 8oz. <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="

Fished Drayton Resse on thursday for the first time. Was on peg 88 and fished a vitalin mix moulded round my lead sweet chilli tuna boilies. 18 runs and 8 carp from hook pulls and hooking into nothing <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_confused.gif" alt="
" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? --> biggest going 12lb 5oz and all mirrors. Then after running out of bait hit the dog biscuits. Lost 3 and had 2 mirrors of 13lb 3oz and 14lb 5oz. Most carps mouths were ripped to hell and lake had alot of chavs on there. Smashing into runs and wondering why the hook was pulling
