Winter method mix

It is still worth using the method in winter? Have never tried it and am thinking to scale down the size of the feeder and cast less often but what would be a good mix to use if any at all?

Worth a go i reckon on commercials at least. Try using 2mm pellets and plain simple browncrumb with a bit of liquid additive mixed in. Not tried this myself but seen a fishing programme where they used it and seemed to have a few carp out of cold water.

Thanks mate will do, given me food for thought and have now spent over 3/4 hour this morning watching fishing videos. Good way to spend the rest of a day off work.
