Chorizo

This has come up on another forum and got me thinking about it. Anyone used it and would frying it be even better as it brings out the flavour more so im thinking it can only be better for the carp to home in on.
Any thoughts?

i have fried cubes of spam before so they get a tougher skin for casting, would imagine it would do the same for chorizo.

Fried meat with chilli powder before that has worked well but with the flavours from chorizo it wouldnt be needed.
