baits that crayfish dont like

are there any? I was told that Mistral's rosehip isotonic is quite good for not attracting the attention of ronnie and reggie, anyone got any ideas?

Wrapping your baits in Armour Mesh works, plastic baits they find more difficult to take off the hair but dont know of a bait that they wont touch. Interesting topic and looking forward to a few answers.

hate to say it but to date have found nothin they wont touch. have put me off fishin some lakes that have a large population of them in there.

I got myself some plastic mutant boilies from wellesborne market last week and after mounting them on a rig they are now resting in a plastic bottle with bait soak covering them. They should be cooked by mid June <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

Im also gonna go with the distraction technique using a punctured tin of dog food to draw them away.

haha ive got some of them ma self currently in a basket in my pond.

why have you got plastic baits in a basket in your pond?

plastic baits are good but those dam crays will still have a go at them. have reeled in minus the plastic corn many times and can only think they are takin the hairstop off and takin it off the hair before realisin its plastic.
