Marmite

Anyone had any results using it?
Few winters back i used to dip my boilies in the stuff. On the lake i was on it didnt seem to make any difference from using non-dipped ones as results were about the same.

I have a small pot of marmite in my bag all the year round. At the moment I have a piece of plastic maize in it complete with hook, every now and again I will cast it out. Ive caught more in the warmer months and when the water is very coloured compared to cold clear water months.

I find the fish either love it or hate it <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

You could always melt some into warm water and tip it over your pellets as well to add a nice meaty aroma to the feeding area.

Dipped meat in it but never really had anything on it but back then think the combination of colder water and the fat on the meat hardening didnt really help the marmite have a good effect.
