seen this place for the first time this week after being shown by a work mate. pretty lakes but are there anything of a decent size in there? info for bagging a few would be appricated to and which lake to head to first. thinking of fishing my next session in a few weeks there

It's mostly small stuff in there mate, i've done a couple of days on the first lake you come too with my old man. Just float fishing for small carp of 1/2 a lb to 5-6 lb. I believe the second lake you come to holds some better fish but nothing of a great size i don't think. Either way it's a lovely little place to sit for an afternoon.

Had a walk round years ago and it is very picturesce. Owner/baliff said it was mostly single figure carp but they look cracking lakes mate.

is it any good in winter. wantin an easier winter venue for a few trips until it warms up again, not bothered about the size.

fishin with me dad and mate this comin sunday for the day. Will let you know how we get on. fishin top lake. me and my mate float fishin for carp and tench and me dad for the small stuff on a pole.

thought wud tell everyone how i did. me and my mate managed about 20 carp, tench and roach fishing sweetcorn on the waggler. biggest carp was only about 6lb but good action on light tackle. my dad caught well over 50 roach, skimmers and perch on the pole including a perch of just over a pound. great little venue and heading back there soon the carp aint massive but good sport. fishery is well sheltered from the wind so going to do a few days over there this winter.

hard a look today. 3 carp caught by 1 man on peg 2 but best was about 8lb. gettin on here before new year will tell you how i do

had a little wander round this evenin, a few carp baskin in the sunshine in the shallows but no-one fishin when i thought there would be on a day like today, maybe they had gone home already.
gettin on the for the first time this year this weekend and cant wait.

had a fantastic days fishin in the sun yesterday. fishin sweetcorn on a size 18 hook and on the waggler i caught well over 50 roach,bream,tench and a few carp upto 5lb. My dad landed loads of roach fishin bread punch. propa happy and will be back
