Cuttle Mill

Another fishery only recently heard about. Heres the site for it.

Another lake where you have to book and im looking for info and tactics on the place once agian to help me decide my lake for the year.
Is it alright or is £20 for a day ticket a bit much?

You have to draw your own conclusions about the mill , i personally love it down there but i know people who hate it ,i always try and do a few sessions on there each year but it can be very peggy and because you have to draw your peg from a bag it can be a bit hit and miss ,if you draw badly you can sit and watch people hauling off pegs 11,12 and 16 ,but don`t get me wrong its not as easy as you may think it sees alot of pressure all year ,but well worth a few visits

Thats what puts me off as picking out your swim may put to the opposite end of the lake to where the carp are that day.

i live 5 mins from it and iv heard nothing but rubbish reports about it of late, i would rather try the other surroundin lakes ie pine pool the water park, blackgreaves lea marston, grounds farm wishaw or fisherwicks lichfield the list is endless round here

Have you ever fished it yourself though? Hearing bad things about the place isnt good but what did they say to you please mate?
Looking pretty full over the next few months on there.

On one of the other forums i go on a guy did a day last week and had a 25 and a 23 also in carp talk someone had a 24 so not all bad unless twenties aint your thing

dont get me wrong it holds some good fish in there, i just think for the money and the agro of pickin your peg in the morning i just think there are better and cheaper places around the area
