Others call it a "runs water" but i struggle to be honest. Mostly commons, only ever seen on mirror come out, and average around 14lbs. A good few 20s to go at with 1 that is pushing 30. 40 mile round trip for me to go there and £10 a day is why i dont go very often.

yea, even further for me then and to be honest I had a little look at the website and doesn't look that nice of a place. Although that might be misleading / old photos.

Nice enough lake, few islands odd shape but gets busy at weekends. Carp in good condition but theres a ton of bream in there around the 3-4lb mark can can annoy you all day if you end up being on them. Mitre at the bowls better in my opinion.

Margins all the time

Im right in thinking its open now then yeah? Off work tuesday and thinking of the day there. Anyone been on here yet this year and got any pointers on where the carp are holding up in there. Im guessing with the warm weather theres a few in the top part of the lake in the shallower water.
Thanks in advance
