All canals around Napton, stockton and Long Itchington been frozen for a couple of days with no boat movement breaking it up.
Drayton been completely frozen for at least 2 days according to baliff, he says on another forum ring before traveling there to see what pegs, if any, are ice free.
Going to walk dogs around the Lias tomorrow and along canal to see how frozen that is, im guessing completely.
The fishing lake at work been frozen solid at for at least 2 days and according to people who have been working the last week <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_surprised.gif" alt="

Looks like another week with no fishing
EDIT: just got this of the Linear fisheries site so heres another frozen complex
Ice Update - All Lakes Are Frozen Again
Update: January 5th 2010 (Happy New Year). Unfortunately all the lakes on the complex are frozen again. For further updates keep an eye on this web site or you can contact Roy Parsons on 07885 327708. Please note that the weather we've got forecast for the next week in this area is looking very cold so there is every chance the lakes could stay frozen until the weekend at least - If you're thinking about making a trip please phone before hand to ensure your journey isn’t wasted.

Had a walk with the dogs round the Lias yesterday, That frozen someone has walked all over it and onto the islands. Only clear bit is right at the top where the stream runs into it and the water is about a foot deep
No fishing for me then on my days off.

Blue Lias was thawing slightly yesterday afternoon and Napton Resse is clear under the ridge and a patch right at the back of the big lake where the ducks are swimming keeping it ice free. Not much hope of the being fishable in the next few days tho <!-- s:evil: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_evil.gif" alt="

Update: Tuesday January 12th 2010. All the lakes at the fishery are still frozen and there is plenty of snow still covering the complex. All gates to the complex are locked and the fishery is closed to the public until further notice. For further updates keep an eye on this web site or you can contact Roy Parsons on 07885 327708. On a positive note there is rain forecast for this area over the weekend, hopefully this we be the start of the big thaw!! That being said we dont expect the lakes to be fishable this week, so if you're thinking about making a trip please phone before hand to ensure your journey isn’t wasted.
