Bank Sticks or Pod?

Usually use bank sticks but last night was a battle to get them into the hard ground. Used to use a pod all the time until it broke no starting to think i need to buy a new one.
What does everyone prefer to use and why?

Sticks for me every time as I can point each individual rod directly at my baited spot and reduce the resistance. I had a rod pod for wooden platforms but broke it and have now bodged two bank sticks that screw directly into the wood.

Thats the reason i prefer them. Just annoying on wooden platform and hard ground. Pod for me but most my fishing is on wooden boards/platforms.
