Checkbook and pen......again!!!!
Are aldi and lidi the same company?
Mrs got herself a 12 foot telescopic rod with a reel and line from there at the same time. Line was rubbish to say the least but rods alright. Only had small carp on it but but i dont think it would ba able to control a carp alot bigger than 10lb because theres so much bend in it.

Aldi and Lidl are different companies. Some of the fishing kit they have can be ok, a lot of it is just rubbish. Best thing I got was a small green holdall for about £ 5 a few months later and a friend of mine went and purchased a JRC holdall for nearly £20 both of them are the same except for a very nicely embroidered JRC logo lol.
Now talking of cheap fishing kit I was in pound stretchers the other day and got some boilies, yes BOILIES bannana and hemp flavoured and they worked out at £2.79 for a 400gm bag or £5 for two. I got two bags to try and guess what, they are not too bad actually, they crumb up really easily for shelf life baits and the smell is great. Ive used them for a short session and I got a carp of about 6 lbs using them. Not bad for a bait purchased from poundstretchers.
