Packington somers was created by adam_v
Today I was took to packington as a guest well what can I say it rained hailed sun shine gales you name it
Well even with adverse weather we tared the place up with over 35 trout to 9lb been taken, I just cooked 1 for tee and my daughter wants more so one is on ice for mid week dinner so looks like I'll have to go back next week, fly fishing is a right good crack 2 weeks time were hitting redditch for pike on the fly come on

Nice mate. You got any trophy shots to share with the forum and im guessing it was Rainbows you were catching as i dont think Browns go that big.

1st and 2nd fish of the day as rules state kill 1st 2 then catch and release
There was no way i was getting the camera out in the weather
The new baby that did the damage couldnt bare to take film off cork but have now lol

Browns do run big mate given chance seen a few around the 12 mark
They are a nice fish to eat and true about the bones but ur should be a dab hand with a filet knife I use a pair of tweezers to pull any left over bones
Only problem was next door stopped me and saw em in the bass bag now she wants some but as my lot are noisey and there oaps I thought what the he'll so back soon to get her a few

Cant beat fresh fish mate. The taste quality is 100 times better than anything you can buy in a supermarket or restaurant. She knows it to thats why shes after some. <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="
