no.....
Maggots are expensive for a reason, they are a very fast turnover product and are best purchased from your local tackle shop.
Promise me you wont ever try breeding your own using bits of dead chicken a few buckets and some bran etc etc it stinks, it will lead to divorce and it will be extremly messy. <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="
" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> If you get them from a shop, keep the lid on and only ever take the lid off once your at the bank side, dont take any left overs home and for gods sake dont ever try keeping them in the fridge:oops:

lol deffo wouldnt risk it mate, for the price of them its not worth growing your own. Best bet is to buy them day prior to fishing and keep them in the coolest place you can or even better, if theres a on-site tackle shop on the lake your fishing get them when you get there.
