Good luck mate hope you catch a few and let us know how you get on.
When i go im thinking of small bags over small bed of particles once found something to fish on. Is it not advisable to start crashing round with the marker when i start? Will it ruin my day?

well , fished spring pools sunday and monday till about 3pm .

about 4:30 sunday afternoon middle rod roared off and i'm into one of the big girls played her about 5 mins and the wily old bird shed the hook , gutted <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt=":cry:" title="Crying or Very Sad" /><!-- s:cry: --> <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt=":cry:" title="Crying or Very Sad" /><!-- s:cry: --> <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt=":cry:" title="Crying or Very Sad" /><!-- s:cry: --> <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt=":cry:" title="Crying or Very Sad" /><!-- s:cry: --> <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt=":cry:" title="Crying or Very Sad" /><!-- s:cry: --> .
anyway apart from that nothing really , water was gin clear and cold and the fish just were not chuffing at all .had a walk around to the opposite side and could see patches of boilies freebies etc that had not been eaten .

Spent last 3 hours on monday stalking a group of three fish by peg 5 in the shallows but they would not even eat the free offerings , three or four times the biggest of the three (very high twenties) had her nose about 2 inches away from the hookbait but just would not take it , but great fun all the same .
love this place , will be there a lot this season (chinese take away to your peg is excellent)
